NTSB Safety Alert - Lifeboats

Following investigation into an accident in which four crew members died after abandoning a weather-damaged lifeboat in near hurricane-force conditions, the U.S. National Transportation Safety Board has recently issued a Safety Alert entitled: "Mariners: Improve Your Chances of Survival When Abandoning Ship".

The NTSB would ike the Safety Alert to be circulated as widely as possible. It is availlable to view and download below.
