Fines for use of Starlink in Chinese Waters

In line with Chinese laws and regulations concerning the use of satellite communication equipment the Chinese authorities have recently started to penalise vessels for using Starlink internet when operating within Chinese jurisdictional waters.
The Club would like to bring to the attention of Members Oasis Circular 2601 recently received from Club Correspondents Oasis P&I Services Company Ltd where they provide recommendations for mitigating the risk of such penalties.
