The following information has been received via the Clubs Correspondents in Yemen.
Heavy fighting erupted this morning in Bab Al-Mandab front between Southern Resistance fighters backed by legitimate government and Coalition forces, on one side, and military forces belong to Houthi rebels and the ousted Yemeni president Saleh, from the other side. News from the battlefront states that Southern Resistance fighters defeated the rebel forces and cleared the Bab Al-Mandab front and advanced to Dhubab village in the Red Sea coast. The Omary military camp also fell in the hands of Southern Resistance fighter after the Coalition navy bombarded the camp by artillery. Latest news states that Southern Resistance forces are now advancing toward the town of Mokha in the Red Sea. Consequently, the port of Mokha may not be safe for ships to call at this time.
