Step inside Steamship Mutual and discover how your Club works for you. The Member Training Course (MTC) returns in 2027, bringing Members together in London and Southampton for an immersive look at the people, expertise and services that support their businesses.
More than a training course, the MTC provides a full overview of how the Club operates and demonstrates how Steamship Mutual serves as an extension of each Member’s business—supporting their day-to-day operations and helping them respond confidently when challenges arise.
through expert-led presentations, interactive workshops, realistic scenario-setting and open discussion with Club Managers and prominent guest speakers, delegates will deepen their understanding of key P&I issues while sharing experience with peers from across the shipping industry.
Course highlights include:

- Interactive collision and casualty-response workshops
- Realistic scenario-setting that brings complex decisions to life
- Practical sessions exploring oil pollution, loss prevention and cyber security
