Transfer of Steamship Mutual Underwriting Association Limited’s European Insurance Business to Steamship Mutual Underwriting Association (Europe) Limited
As a result of Brexit Steamship Mutual Underwriting Association Limited has transferred its historic European business – business relating to the EEA, Monaco and Switzerland – to Steamship Mutual Underwriting Association (Europe) Limited pursuant to Part VII of Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (the “Scheme”).
On 2 December 2020 the Court sanctioned the transfer and the Order can be found below. The transfer took effect on 20 December 2020.
