Shepstone & Wylie, Club correspondents in South Africa, have reported as follows:
Local online trade newspaper Freight & Trading Weekly has reported that due to the drought and water restrictions that are in force, the South African port of Cape Town has suspended the sale and supply of fresh water to vessels calling at the port, with exceptions considered only in extreme cases and on merit.  Vessels have been requested to take on water at other South African ports, noting however that water restrictions are also in force in Mossel Bay, Port Elizabeth and Ngqura.
