Fishing Ban Ends for parts of Fujian Coast

Lasting three and a half months, the fishing ban ends for some areas in the Fujian Province

With thanks to Club Correspondents Huatai Marine, China, the Club has been advised that the three and a half month summer fishing ban for some coastal areas in Fujian Province China ended on the 16 August 2022, and that fishermen have once again started operating in this area. 

With the end of the fishing ban the fishing areas are likely to be busier than normal, Members are therefore encouraged to review and share with their fleets the Circular PNI (2022) 07 (also available below), which provides details and information on the identified high risk warning areas.
