This facility is provided by and on behalf of Steamship Mutual Underwriting Associated Limited, Steamship Mutual Underwriting Association (Europe) Limited, their Managers and their agents (“Steamship”, “we” or “us”). Please read these Terms of Use carefully before you start to use this facility. By using this facility, you accept these Terms of Use and you agree to abide by them. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use this website.

Accessing our Site:

It is your responsibility to ensure that your employer is aware of and has approved your access to this facility and the information which it contains about your company and/or it clients.
At the time of registration you will be provided with a user identification code, a password and/or another piece of information (“Secure Username”) as part of our security procedure. You must treat your Secure Username as confidential and not disclose it to any third party.
You must immediately notify us if you become aware that a Secure Username is being misused. If you leave your current employment then you shall notify us and cease to use your Secure Username.
We have the right to disable any Secure Username, whether chosen by you or allocated by us, at any time, for any reasonable purpose. From time to time we may suspend, restrict or terminate access to some or all parts of the facility, to users who have registered with us.
We will not be liable if for any reason access to this facility is restricted or unavailable for any reason at any time or for any period.

Claim Notification:

We do not accept notification of claims via this website. If you wish to notify us of a claim please inform your usual contact directly.

Acceptable Use Policy:

We wish to ensure that the facility is used appropriately and therefore you agree not to:

Use this facility to contravene any law of any applicable jurisdiction, or commit a crime or a tortious or otherwise wrongful act, or any act that has an unlawful or fraudulent purpose or effect;
Upload, post, e-mail or otherwise communicate or transmit any material or otherwise use this facility in any way that may infringe any intellectual property rights of any party;
Upload, post, e-mail or otherwise transmit any offensive material or material that contains computer viruses, Trojans, worms, logic bombs, or any other computer code or other material which is malicious or technologically harmful;
Transmit any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material or any other form of similar solicitation.

We may monitor your use of the facility to ensure compliance with this Acceptable Use Policy and to collect statistical information about the use of the facility.

Suspension and Termination:

We will determine, in our discretion, whether there has been a breach of the Acceptable Use Policy through your use of the facility. When a breach of that Policy has occurred we may take such action as we deem appropriate including but not limited to:

Immediate, temporary or permanent withdrawal of your rights to use the facility.
Immediate, temporary or permanent removal of any posting or material uploaded by you to the facility.
Reporting such matter to your employer.
Legal proceedings against you for reimbursement of all costs on an indemnity basis (including, but not limited to, reasonable administrative and legal costs) resulting from the breach.
Disclosure of such information to law enforcement authorities as we reasonably feel is necessary.
Any other action we reasonably deem appropriate.
We exclude liability for actions taken in response to breaches of the conditions for Accessing our Site or the Acceptable Use Policy.

Intellectual Property Rights:

We are the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in the facility and in the material published on it.

To the extent you own the necessary rights to do so, you grant us a worldwide royalty free non-exclusive licence for the full duration of any copyright (including any extensions thereof) to copy, reproduce, publish, distribute and display any material you upload to or publish to the facility for any reasonable business purpose. You acknowledge that we are the administrator of this facility and will therefore have access to any material you upload to or publish on it. You warrant that you have the appropriate licence, consent and authorisation to upload to and publish to this facility any material which you upload to or publish to this facility.

You may display, view and print out and otherwise use this facility in accordance with these Terms of Use. If you print off, copy or download any part of the facility in breach of these Terms of Use, your right to use the facility will cease immediately and you must, at our option, return or destroy any copies of the materials you have made. Subject to your compliance with these Terms of Use, we grant to you a non-exclusive non-transferable right to use this facility to provide to and receive from us information relating to insurance cover provided by Steamship to you or your clients and to use it in connection with such insurance cover.

Subject to these Terms of Use you must not use any part of the materials on our site for commercial purposes without obtaining a licence to do so from us or our licensors.

Any personal data (as defined in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)) viewed or obtained through the use of the facility, must be handled and secured by you in accordance with all applicable data protection legislation.

This facility and the materials contained in the facility are provided for general information purposes only. Whilst care has been taken to ensure the accuracy of such information it is provided without any guarantees, conditions or warranties as to its accuracy and we accept no responsibility for loss or damage which may arise from reliance on this facility or information contained in this facility. We disclaim all liability and responsibility arising from any reliance placed on such materials by any visitor to this facility or by anyone who may be informed of any of its contents.
