About the job

As a mutual organisation, it is extremely important for the Club to manage the quality of entered tonnage and a cornerstone to achieving this is through undertaking condition surveys. The purpose of these surveys is to evaluate not only physical condition of a vessel, but also the shipboard operations and management. A key element of your role will be co-ordinating with the Underwriters, Members and our global network of surveyors to schedule and manage these condition surveys.
In addition, you will support the Loss prevention team in producing technical documents and guidance for the Members and the wider marine industry, preparation of presentations for training seminars and industry conferences. We are looking for someone who is organised and has an analytic mind able to organise and analyse data. You will also be vital in helping co-ordinate the team activities, often acting as a first point of contact for the Loss Prevention Department.
