Venezuela Sanctions Update

Correspondents Venepandi have issued  Circular 043 with regard to US sanctions against Venezuela.

The Circular details prohibitions on certain transactions by US persons or within the US with certain government and public Venezuelan entities. Prohibited transactions include those relating to the gold sector of the Venezuelan economy, and those concerning the issuance of new debt where the debtor is the Venezuelan government or the purchase of debt owed to the Venezuelan government.
