COVID Statement

Steamship Mutual are following Government advice closely and taking all necessary precautions to protect the health and well being of our employees and Members; this is our first priority.  The Club has taken the decision for its staff to work from home. This transition is working well, but should you have any comments they can be submitted here.

We want to reassure all our Members that we have put in place continuity plans to ensure that we can continue to provide our normal services for as long as possible. These are being reviewed regularly as the situation evolves and changes will be made as and when appropriate to do so.

Our offices have been certified COVID safe, so that when it is appropriate to do so we will be able to return to the office safe in the knowledge that our staff and visitors are protected as far as practicably possible.

If you are visiting any of the Steamship offices

We politely request that if you do need to visit one of our offices you adhere to the following:

  • Do not come if you are feeling unwell in any way, including coughs and fevers. Please follow the government advice on self-isolation.

  • Use the temperature sensor screen before leaving reception.
  • Maintain high levels of hygiene as are being advised; washing hands regularly for 20 seconds with soap and water and using tissues to catch coughs and sneezes.
