 The Australian Maritime Safety Authority has recently published Marine Notice 11/2016  on the subject of bridge resource management and the expected actions of bridge teams whilst navigating in Australian pilotage waters. Notwithstanding the Australian focus of this document, the principles that are referred to have general application, and Members may therefore find it useful to refer the notice to their vessels as general reminder of best practice.
