Steamship Mutual is proud to announce our continued sponsorship of a cadet's journey into the maritime sector through our partnership with MLOCS. These scholarships provide cadets with the opportunity to study for 3-4 years at leading nautical training colleges, both onshore and at sea, to qualify as deck and engine room officers. We are delighted to sponsor Ellen Carter, who is studying the Officer Of the Watch Unlimited Certification, and joins the program after recently working onboard a superyacht in the Caribbean.
Ellen recently visited Steamship Mutual's London office, where she had the opportunity to be interviewed by Capt. John Taylor, Head of Loss Prevention.
In addition, having been affiliated with the MLOCS program since inception, the Club can announce that we have also partnered with Maritime Cyprus Academy to sponsor students who are looking to pursue a career in the maritime industry.
