The Immigration & Checkpoints Authority of Singapore (ICA) has reviewed its process for the clearance of crew and passenger at ports.

From 1 November 2017, all passengers and seafaring crew disembarking/embarking from commercial vessels berthing at PSA and Jurong Port’s terminals/wharves must report to one of the four designated ICA crew offices to undergo security checks on their passports and luggage.

In addition, the driver conveying the passengers/crew exiting the port are required to wait until further instructions given by ICA officers to proceed as they may be subjected to security checks.

This revised process is applicable to clearance at ports only – clearance processes at other areas (e.g. shipyards, anchorages, etc) remain unchanged.

Further details is can be found in the ICA letter attached.
