Club correspondents Huatai report that a revised maritime safety law will come into force from 1 September 2021.
Huatai have provided a summary of some of the changes. Their Circular PNI [2021] 09 includes items on the
carriage of dangerous goods, lightering of bulk liquid dangerous goods and emergency response to infectious disease. Further sections look at maritime search and rescue, investigation and handling of maritime traffic accidents and the rescue of vessels in distress.
