Port Security Advisory 2-09 (Rev 2) - Emerging Security Threats Against Vessels (Acts of Piracy + Armed Robbery Against Ships)     

The U.S. Coast Guard has issued International Port Security Program's "Port Security Advisory (2-09) (Rev 2)" dated 23 November 2010, which relates to the release of  Maritime Security (MARSEC) Directive 104-6 (Rev.4): Guidelines for U.S. Vessels Operating in High Risk Waters.

While the security measures set out in the Advisory are directed at U.S.-flagged vessels operating in high risk waters, the Coast Guard have commented that they may also be considered by foreign-flagged vessels.
